The EE-T Portal – Economic e-Translations Portal – is addressed to higher education teachers and researchers in the field of History of Economic Thought with the purpose to assess the impact of translations of economic texts on the History of Economic Thought in Europe.
Following a long research with the aim of building a database on economists and economic science in liberal Italy, our group decided to continue those studies and to deepen the related topics of interest, through a new methodological and historiographical approach of institutional history of political economy.
This journal is aimed at creating a meeting point of debate between historians and economists who wish to further their studies on the Italian tradition of economic thought, and on a broader spectrum, on the relationship between the history of ideas and analysis, and the history of economic events in Italy.
